We
invite you to join us sometime this week. The Lake
Highlands Student Ministry actually meets twice each
week. On Sunday mornings we meet for a time of
Bible Study and discussion with other people your
age. We like to begin at 9:30 a.m. each week.
The
second time we meet is on Wednesday night, 6th-8th
grades at 6:00 p.m. and 9th-12th grades at 6:30 p.m. This is a large group setting and a place
where you will meet lots of new friends and people to
hang out with. It is called JOLT, which stand for
Just One Loving Touch, which refers to the love that
Christ gives to His people. We dismiss by 8:00
p.m. for those who are being picked up by parents or
those that have homework. However, if you like to
hang out with your friends, play basketball, or just
listen to music, we invite you to stay until 9:00 p.m.
when we close.
On
Sunday's we meet in Room 108, which is located in the
main building. If you are unaware of its location
you can ask a volunteer at our Welcome Center to point
you in the right direction.
Each
Wednesday night the 6th-8th grades meet in Room 108
while the 9th-12th grades meet at the Family Life Center.
It is located across the Parking Lot from our Main
Building.
If you are currently a student
in 6th - 12th grade you are invited to attend one or both
of our weekly studies. We look forward to meeting
you, and by the way...Bring a friend with you when you
come!
